's presidential debate. jack's joining us now with the cafferty file. jack. >> wolf, chris christie says that mitt romney is going to kick president obama's butt in tomorrow night's debate. hey, that's the way the new jersey governor talks. chris christie thinks romney will turn the election upside down, his words, and that it will be a brand new race after the showdown in denver. no surprise romney's people ran right away from chris christie's comments pretty quickly. they're trying to lower expectations, which is how candidates normally approach these things. but let's suppose for a minute that chris christie's right. what would it take for mitt romney to win the debate and change the storyline of this election? 50 million people are expected to tune in. many think tomorrow night is romney's last best chance to turn things around. he's been practicing for the debate for months on top of the practice he got in the almost two dozen primary debates. but here's the challenge, romney has to come off as likable, authentic and show that he can coect with the voters. we've been hearing that for months,
